Driving "home" for Christmas

Vores 1000km køretur sydpå gik rigtig godt. Vi tog en enkelt overnatning i Charleston, hvor der var en vaskeægte pandekage automat til morgenmaden og fortsatte ned gennem West Virginia, hvor der kun blev flottere og flottere jo længere vi kom ned:

Our 600miles drive south went well. We had an overnight stop in charleston where there was a real automated pancake machine available for breakfast. Tuesday we continued down through West Virginia that grew more and more beautiful the further we got down:

Nu sidder vi her syd for Charlotte hvor vi er blevet taget fantastisk imod af Birgitte 

og Doug, et par børnebørn og Charlie:

Now we are here south of Charlotte where we enjoy the outstanding hospitality of Birgitte and Doug, a couple of grand kids and Charlie:

Vi er lige kommet tilbage fra julegudstjeneste i baptist kirken og om lidt venter julemiddagen hvor rygtet går at julemanden kigger forbi med gaver.

We just got back from the christmas service at the baptist Church and in a little while we will leave for the Christmas dinner where rumour has it that Santa is stopping by.
